Birth and lifestyle portraits are made in the comfort of your home or a special place. These sessions are for those wishing to capture their most intimate moments at times when vulnerability is at its peak.
These images are emotional, candid and truthful.

We know how precious your time with your little one is. With newborn and baby sessions, we capture the special moments and important milestones in your child's life. Don't wait for time to steal those little moments you simply can't get back.

Family portraits should be light-hearted, relaxed and fun, so that you look back on your photos years later and enjoy them as much as you did that day. We want our clients to remember the experience they had while also capturing a few posed portraits.
FAQ
How many pictures will we receive?
This is dependent on how cooperative each participant is! Generally speaking most of my galleries have 20+ images. (This does not apply for weddings & events of course.)
How should we dress for our family session?
For each client I will curate an inspiration board for you to follow. You can ask questions if needed and I am happy to provide any additional guidance! This is a great way to get an idea of what you have in mind and choose outfit options that fit within that theme.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
Newborn sessions should be booked at least two
months before baby makes their debut. I love to have
time to talk about themes and buy any backdrops/props we
may need for the session. Newborn sessions unlike other
sessions call for extreme flexibility since babies come when
they are well and ready. Once they arrive the window for
those sweet sleepy photos is a short 2-3 weeks. I will NOT
book newborn sessions after 3 weeks.
Where are you located?
I'm based in Troy, NY and generally shoot in the surrounding towns/cities. However, I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story outside of my typical 20 mile radius it will
require a travel fee.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all of your photos
within 4 weeks of our session. Weddings and NB sessions typically take 4-6 weeks. You can download all
the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose
your favorites, and also order prints! If you are ordering print products it typically takes 4 weeks for arrival.
